Microsoft Edge is the preferred web browser when accessing Ajera. However, since upgrading to the newest version of Edge (viewable with the new logo), users are encountering issues with the popup windows not appearing or being prompted to download an *.application file which cannot be opened.

 

     

 

 

Thankfully, there is an easy fix for this issue. By making the following change in your Edge browser, Ajera will allow the popups for timesheets, expense reports and other functions within the site.

  1. Place your mouse cursor in the address bar at the top of your Microsoft Edge screen. Delete anything that is currently in the address bar.
  2. Type in the following:  edge://flags and press enter.
  3. On the “Experiments” type in ClickOnce Support in the search box at the top of the page.

 

  1. Change the ClickOnce setting from Default to Enabled, using the drop-down menu next to ClickOnce Support.  You will be prompted to restart Microsoft Edge. Click Restart.

 

  1. Once Edge has restarted, login to Ajera once again. When you attempt to open a new timesheet or report, a blank tab will open and you will see the following pop-up:

 

                                Click Open

  1. The new Ajera window will open on your taskbar. Click on it to open it.
